COVID-19: Unlock 4 Allows Metro Rail in Phased Manner From 7 Sept

The Government of India on Saturday, 29 August, announced guidelines for ‘Unlock 4’ which will come into effect on 1 September and to be in force till 30 September.
India on Saturday reported 76,472 new COVID-19 cases, taking the tally in the country to 34,63,973. The death toll increased by 1,021 to 62,550.
According to the Union Health Ministry data, there are currently 7,52,424 active cases across the country, while 26,48,998 patients have been discharged, and one had migrated.

India on Saturday reported 76,472 new COVID-19 cases, taking the tally in the country to 34,63,973. The death toll increased by 1,021 to 62,550.

Uttarakhand BJP chief Bansidhar Bhagat on Saturday tweeted saying that he has tested positive for COVID-19.

BJP's Sakshi Maharaj Forcibly Quarantined In Jharkhand For Violating Rule
BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj was forcibly sent to home quarantine in Jharkhand on Saturday for 14 days for violating COVID-19 norms, a senior district official said on Saturday, according to PTI.
The MP from Uttar Pradesh had come to Giridih, over 200 km from Ranchi, to take part in a programme from Unnao via Dhanbad. The action was taken according to a state government order of 14 days quarantine for people coming from outside to the state, Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha said.

Unlock 4.0: Metro Rail to Be Allowed in Graded Manner From 7 Sept
The Government of India on Saturday, 29 August, announced guidelines for ‘Unlock 4’ which will come into effect on 1 September and to be in force till 30 September. According to the guidelines, Metro rail services will be allowed to operate with effect from 7 September in a graded manner, said the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MOHUA)/Ministry of Railways (MOR), in consultation with the MHA.
658 New Cases in Uttarakhand Today
Uttarakhand has reported 658 new COVID-19 cases today. The total number of positive cases in the state is now 18,571 including 5,735 active cases, 12,524 recoveries and 250 deaths, according to the state Health Department.
Maharashtra Reports 16,867 Cases Today
16,867 new #COVID19 cases, 11,541 discharges and 328 deaths have been reported in Maharashtra today. The total number of positive cases now stands at 7,64,281 including 1,85,131 active cases, 5,54,711 recoveries and 24,103 deaths, the State Health department said on Saturday.
