Zara, the brand, means many things to shoppers worldwide. Elegant. Classy. Chic.

But you never would have imagined that your beloved apparel retailer would also be called Islamophobic.

#BoycottZara has become a thing on Twitter as customers and fans bashed the brand for denying a woman entry into one of their stores in a suburb near Paris because she was wearing a hijab.

In a video that was uploaded on YouTube, the store manager is heard telling the woman that those wearing gear that covers the head will not be allowed inside the store.

The video was uploaded on YouTube a day after terror attacks in Paris. However, it is not clear when the incident took place and when the video was shot. Reports suggest the store has now fired two of its employees.

But Twitter kept up its attack.
