Medical investigations into the case of the alleged suicide of popular television actress Pratyusha Banerjee have indicated that she may have been pregnant before death.
The report read that there was a premature death of the foetal cell, which raised the question whether she had opted for an abortion or was it due to some other reason that the (foetal) cell was damaged.
Pratyusha’s boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh, however, denied the reports.
Rahul, in an interview to ANI, said that Pratyusha was not pregnant. “People are spreading rumours. No one has spoken to a doctor. Everyone is attributing their information to sources,” he said.
Police had booked Rahul for abetting Pratyusha’s suicide.
