With the Assembly Elections around the corner in Assam, The Quint traveled to the state and spoke to Assamese actor and BJP candidate from Bardowa, Angurlata.

Angurlata, who hails from Nalbari in the lower part of Assam, is making her political debut in the upcoming elections. Her main opponent is Congress’s Gautam Bora, a three-time MLA from Bardowa.
