A terrifying video shows a car driving straight into a restaurant, smashing through a glass wall and crushing the tables were diners can been seen busy eating. The driver, 42-year-old Ram Singh, lost control of his Volkswagen Polo when he accidentally stepped on the accelerator instead of the brake while attempting to park his car outside the restaurant in Ranchi, eastern India.
The car sped and slammed through the restaurant’s glass wall where 40 people were having their lunch. Four diners were injured, while Singh who was travelling with his wife and a 12-year-old were unscathed. Showkat Galeria, the manager of the restaurant who witnessed the dreadful incident, said the man lost control of the car after he was signalled by a guard outside the entrance to the parking area.
