So Kiku Sharda has been forgiven by His Excellency, Baba Ram Rahim Singh ji Insaan for nakalofying him. And the guru made a reasonable point, he claims the objections to the mimicry were because Kiku portrayed him as a drinking, womanising fellow, which is slanderous.
Fair enough.
But for all the aspiring comedians out there, there’s nothing to worry about. His Excellency, Baba Ram Rahim Singh ji Insaan has given you more than enough material to go on.
A Most Modest Man
In his films, he calls himself the Messenger of God. His website has a talents section which claims that “guruji has mastered every sphere of positive human activity with ease and panache”. These include, but are not limited to, almost every sport you have heard of, and some you haven’t. Apparently, he is a master of something called shoot ball.
Ru-b-ru Nights
Ever wonder about your purpose in life? Do you want to know who you are, truly?
All you need to do is attend one of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh ji’s ‘Ru-b-ru nights’, and you will be told – YOU ARE A LOVE CHARGER! That’s right, he sings to audiences of thousands in the most... let’s call them flamboyant costumes... if you can’t find something to joke about there, you need to see a doctor about a sense-of-humour-transplant.
No Body Shaming This Guru
In an age where so many people are made to feel self conscious about their bodies, this man just does not care. He may look like a cross between a large sea creature and Anil Kapoor (before he discovered full-body waxing), but that doesn’t stop him from showing off his assets. You go guru!
Record-Breaker
Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insaan has also has a boat-load of world records, according to his website. Some of these, like the world’s largest blood donation camp, are laudable. But there are some that make you wonder about how they contribute to the social and spiritual upliftment of the masses.
Like the world’s largest human droplet. Or the most people dancing together, to his song “party dhoom dham se” Or the world’s largest vegetable mosaic. Now, you may not know what some of these are, but they will be funny as hell.
