A Muslim man was stripped, tied to a pole and beaten for allegedly speaking to a Hindu woman in Karnataka’s Mangalore.
14 activists, who were taking turns to flog the victim, have been arrested, after the man filed a complaint.
It is unclear who the group of men who assaulted him were or what political affiliations they had.
According to reports, the police has detained the men and are conducting an investigation.
