2016 is here and so is Delhi’s odd-even traffic plan. While some companies are taking up initiatives to help their employees and some have been exempted by the Delhi government, there are still a lot of people who may have to face inconvenience during the 15-day trial period between January 1 and January 15.

The list is in no particular order, the effectiveness of these apps depends on where and when you use them.
Zoomcar
Zoomcar is one of India’s first self-drive car rental company. It allows users to rent cars by the hour, day, week, or month. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Bengaluru, its services are presently spread across Bengaluru, Pune, Delhi NCR, Chennai, Mumbai and Hyderabad.
Ryde
Ryde is a carpool app by Ibibo group for intracity and inter-city travel. It also offers women-only cars and you can also offer to carpool with other Ryde users.
Revv
The good thing about this app is that the car is delivered to your location and will be taken back by Revv (from the same spot) when your commute is over .
Jugnoo
Jugnoo is an auto rickshaw aggregator. If you need one, you can use this app which pings the auto-rickshaws near your location. One of those auto-rickshaws will accept the request and come pick you up. You are also provided with the driver’s number.
Poocho
Poocho is an auto-rickshaw aggregator that also gives you information about the routes of the Orange buses in Delhi, along with a tentative seat availability in these buses.
AutoNCabs
If you are looking for an App that gives you information about auto-rickshaws plying in Gurgaon and Noida, then AutoNCab is the aggregator you are looking for.
Voodoo
Voodoo helps you find the availability of the nearest cabs around you across widely used cab booking apps – Ola, Uber and TaxiForSure so that you can save on the time that you would have otherwise spent scanning these apps.
Helpchat
Helpchat is a personal assistance messaging platform that can be used to ask queries related to odd/even rules, from an expert. You can also utilise the app to book a cab from Ola and Uber.
Uberpool
If you don’t want to carpool with your colleagues or boss, Uberpool can help you. All you have to do is switch it on whenever you want to start picking up riders. You can then travel with the help of GPS and get paid every week from. The money is directly deposited to your bank account.
FrndiNeed
If you have difficulties in trusting someone for carpool, then you might want to consider FrndiNeed (pronounced friend in need). You can have conversations with other people using this app via text or calls, and carpool with them once you feel up for it. The app also comes with an SOS feature which, when activated, alerts every app user nearby that you are in need of help.
