India’s left-handed batsman, Yuvraj Singh has been sold to for Rs 7 crore to the Sunrisers Hyderabad. The teams were silent for sometime when Yuvraj’s name was called, but the Mumbai Indians came to the rescue and started bidding. The Royal Challengers Bangalore team got into the act as well before the Hyderabad team acquired the Punjab lad.
Yuvraj Singh has always been the player to watch out for in the Indian Premier League. He had a decent stint as captain for the King XI Punjab before moving to Pune Warriors India in 2011.
In 2014, he was the highest paid player in the auction. Yuvraj was sold to the Royal Challengers Bangalore for a whopping 14 crore. And in the next year, the Chandigarh lad broke the record in the next auction after he was bought for 16 crore.
Yuvraj Singh took India home in the final T20 against Australia last month with a six and a four in the final over. The Punjab lad’s bowling will also come in handy for the Sunrisers.
