Just when Indian Head Coach Anil Kumble had calmed the issue between Ravi Shastri and Sourav Ganguly by saying that Ravi Shastri or anybody else is not as important as the players, Ganguly hit back at Shastri with some very strong remarks.

Shastri, who had called Ganguly disrespectful because the latter was absent while the former gave his interview for post of head coach of the Indian cricket team, was given a strong comeback on Wednesday.

Ganguly said that he was extremely saddened and surprised by Shastri’s comments. The former Indian captain added that if Shastri feels that he lost out on the coaching job because of Ganguly, then he is living in a fool’s world.
