2 Militants Dead, 2 Civilians Injured as Clashes Break Out in J&K

The encounter took place on Friday morning in Bomai area of Sopore in Jammu and Kashmir.

• Two persons were injured on Friday after fresh clashes broke out between security forces and protesters at different places in Srinagar and Baramulla districts of Kashmir valley.

• Clashes broke out after security forces killed two militants in an anti-militancy operation on Friday morning following information about the presence of militants in the area, a police official said.
  
  
• The clashes also rocked Jamia Masjid and adjoining areas in Srinagar shortly after Friday prayers.
