- The fourth accused in the alleged gangrape of a 24-year-old woman in Kolkata’s Salt Lake area was nabbed by the police from Kolkata Raliway station.
- Subrata Dutta, a driver, was arrested on Thursday after police received reports that the suspect was trying to flee.
- Three other accused, identified by CCTV footage of the crime, were previously arrested from a hideout in North 24-Parganas district a day after the alleged gangrape took place.
- The gangrape occurred when the woman was waiting on the road for transport and three to four persons forced her in an SUV.
