Border Security Force officials (BSF) gunned down a suspected intruder along the Indo-Pak border on Thursday morning at 6:40 am, media reports suggest.
There were three infiltrators had crossed 68 metres into Indian territory at the border near Madhopur. While one was killed, two others managed to escape taking advantage of the fog.
The trio were warned and challenged by the BSF and thereafter jawans opened fire.
The jawans gunned down the intruder near the Tash border outpost in Pathankot district. Right after the firing, BSF started combing the border area.
