BJP leader and Unnao MP Sakshi Maharaj on Thursday said if
Muslims are safe anywhere in the world, it is in India.
He also claimed that India’s Muslim population was the biggest beneficiary of the programmes launched by the Narendra Modi-led NDA government at the Centre.
Maharaj praised Modi saying the opposition was scared by the programmes and policies implemented by him, so, in Parliament, whenever he tries to speak about development of the country, they create disruptions.
On Indo-Pak talks, he said,
If the PM talks to Pakistan they (the Opposition) have a problem and if he doesn’t, then they have a problem too.
Attacking the opposition leaders the BJP MP said that Mulayam Singh Yadav, Nitish Kumar, Mamata Banerjee and (Arvind) Kejriwal are a danger to the nation.
