Virender Sehwag announces his retirement on his birthday driving the already excited Twitterati completely crazy.

India’s top left-hander Virender Sehwag has announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket and the IPL. #ThankYouSehwag has been trending on Twitter since the news unofficially came out. Sehwag himself took to Twitter to announce the news.

I hereby retire from all forms of international cricket and from the Indian Premier League. A statement will follow.
