The hand of a woman working as a domestic help in Saudi Arabia has been chopped off by her employer, according to IndiaToday.
Kasturi, 58, from Vellore in Tamil Nadu, was working as a maid in Riyadh and had registered a case against her employer who chopped off her hand in rage. Kasturi is currently admitted in Kingdom Hospital in Riyadh.
Kasturi is my sister. Through an agent she was taken to Riyadh. Her employers tortured her. They chopped off her hand. Unable to bear the torture, she attempted suicide. We request the authorities to rescue her.
