Headley Invested in UAE and Pakistan After 2002

As the cross-examination continues, Headley admitted that before this conviction, he had been convicted by US courts for drug smuggling – twice. On both occasions, he signed a plea bargaining agreement, with the US authorities, stating that he will not indulge in criminal activities by joining  LeT, which he confessed to have violated.

According to ANI, Headley added that he invested in a few shops in UAE and “some other” investments in Pakistan after 2002.

A man called Zeb Shah in Pakistan was helping me in my drug business. I talked to him about smuggling weapons to India in 2006 for the first time, but it was not me who was trying to smuggle.

Headley Says Tahawwur Rana Was Not in Touch With LeT

In his latest revelations, David Headley claims that Pakistani-Canadian resident of Chicago, Tahawwur Rana – co-accused for conspiracy in the 2008 Mumbai attacks – was not in touch with LeT, although he knew of Headley’s association with the terror organisation.
