A video recording of a Miami physician attempting to hit an Uber driver has gone viral on the internet.
In the video, Anjali Ramkissoon is seen hitting the driver and then throwing papers and other objects out of the car.
According to Juan Cinco, the person who shot the video, the driver had arrived to pick another passenger but the physician jumped in the car and demanded that she get a ride.
Juan Cinco, BystanderOnce in handcuffs, she then tried kicking some of the police officers on the scene. It was only when they put her in the police car that she started crying, apologising and claiming that she would lose her medical license (she claimed to be a neurologist) if she got arrested.
He also said that the Uber driver did not lodge a complaint but agreed to a cash settlement.
Ramkissoon is currently facing disciplinary action from Jackson Health System, where she is a fourth year neurology student.
