Brother is being hanged for Tiger. Where is Tiger?
Actor Salman Khan rarely discusses controversial issues on an open social media platform. Especially since his conviction in the hit and run case.
But in a rare move, the actor took to Twitter late Saturday night/early Sunday morning to oppose the death penalty of 1993 Mumbai serial blasts convict Yakub Memon.
Salman, in the news lately for his hit movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan, wrote that he had wanted to tweet on the issue for a while but finally decided to take the step because it involved “man’s family.”
In a series of tweets, Salman slammed Tiger Memon, calling him a “billi” (cat) and a “lomdi” (fox).
Tiger Memon aka Ibrahim Mushtaq Abdul Razak Nadim Memon, is Yakub’s brother and one of the prime accused in the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts case.
Salman also reached out to Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif asking him to speak up if Tiger Memon is in his country.
