It’s been a tough year for stray animals. Every month, cases of animal abuse made the headlines. Animals — especially dogs — were burnt alive, thrown off buildings, beaten and even had acid thrown on them.

In some cases, people argue that they are doing it in self defence. Dogs are the primary cause of rabies infections, and more than 20,000 people a year die from the infection.

But is the cruelty really warranted?

Animal cruelty happens every day. Join us in our #DontBeABeast campaign, as we fight animal cruelty and call out all those who think throwing dogs off roofs or beating them is a good idea.
