India’s most eligible bachelor, Salman Khan finally spoke at length about why being married at 50 is a big deal. The star spoke to Mumbai Mirror and dismissed rumours of being engaged to Iulia Vantur but confessed how he wants to father two or three children.

The thought of marriage is something that has never gone well with the star and the media has been speculating about his wedding for at least a decade. He feels that it is not really fair to be married to someone because of his hectic schedule.
But it takes two to make a marriage, one difficult partner and the other easy-to live-with. I’m never home, I’m always surrounded by people, always working. Having said that, being able to father two or three children is something he really wishes to do. We have seen on many occasions how he is wonderful with kids and the way they adore him back.
I’d like to have a child but the problem with that is with the child the mother comes along. If I can avoid the mother and have a child I wouldn’t mind two or three. Tell me, if there’s a solution.Salman Khan
Salman denied his ‘engagement’ and asked a certain section of the media to stay in line. He feels that some members of the media do not keep decorum intact especially when it comes to private matters and go to the extent of disrespecting elders in the family.
My dad is 80, you can’t come and stick your mic in front of his face. What if he falls? When it is my family and friends, especially my mother, Helen aunty and my dad.....We are young people, you can do this to us. Don’t do this with my parents because you will not like it if i do it with your parents.Salman Khan
