Aamir Khan’s ‘Incredible India’ journey has finally come to an end. On Wednesday, the actor ceased to be the mascot of the Tourism Ministry’s flagship campaign.
Following hightened speculation, the ministry clarified that his contract had expired but many believe it was his ‘rising intolerance’ comment that led to his sudden exit.
After nearly seven years, you will no longer see the 50-year-old actor preaching Atithi Devo Bhava and applauding hawkers for returning a ‘phoren’ woman’s bag or rescuing Caucasian women from notorious Delhi autowallahs.
