I’m sure this dialogue had all boys thinking ‘Ye kahan fasaa diya yaar, ab kis kis ke samne sar jhukate phirein?’. Even worse, it had all the girls thinking that the man who bows his head in front of them just HAS to be their future husband. I’m damn curious about where this idea even came from. KJo, was it you?
Mini Skirt Waali Ladkiyan Bhi Sanskari Ho Sakti Hain
We’ve learnt it the hard way, but every girl knows that you’ve gotta have a bit of both worlds to get the man of your dreams (if that’s your agenda of course)- sex appeal and sanskari-ness. So KJo basically taught us that all tom boys out there need to pull up their socks, sex up a little and get the hang of a few bhajans to become the ideal dream girl! Then again, you can also do what I did, watch Kuch Kuch Hota Hai again, laugh your guts out and forget all about it!
Sari Nahin Toh Kuch Nahin
KJo was probably at his stereotypical best in his first film. No wonder he thought that the only way to get Shah Rukh to fall in love with Kajol in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is to turn her into this demure, long haired, saree clad diva. Apparently Kuch Kuch tabhi hota hai jab sari-make up- gehne hote hain. Wah! Wah!
