All set to return as the Chief Minister of West Bengal with a staggering victory, Mamata Banerjee on Thursday, thanked the people for her unprecedented win. Didi will form the government once again, winning over 200 of 294 seats. She also added that Bengal was a “corruption-less” state and the opposition’s attempts to malign her party backfired against them. People of West Bengal have rejected (opposition’s) attempts to mislead them, and their conspiracies. She settled the debate by saying that her happiness lies in people’s happiness.She also said that she has made mistakes in the past, but she always attempts to learn from them. Thanking the Election Commission, she however, was critical of the central police force, saying that they prevented people from casting their votes.
