Twitter Users Find Voice as ‘Lutyens Insider’ Pulls Down Account

Infamous Twitter troll Lutyens Insider pulls down page after FIR. Support and applause pours in.

Maybe silence is not always golden and ignoring things don’t lead to bliss.

After Delhi journalist Swati Chaturvedi filed an FIR against Twitter troll Lutyens Insider, the page has been pulled down and all the tweets have been deleted. Chaturvedi has received applause and praise from all quarters.

After The Quint carried a piece on Chaturvedi’s move to register an FIR, journalists who were fence-sitters to the abuse and slander came out united in their support.

The loudest applause has come from the brigade of women journalists. Chaturvedi, it seems has articulated the plight of the emancipated bunch that has largely been silent in the face of anonymous trolls.
