TDP Pulling Out of NDA Unfortunate: Amit Shah Pens Letter to Naidu

After the YSRC and the TDP warned of moving a no-confidence motion against the Narendra Modi government over Centre’s refusal to grant special status category to Andhra Pradesh, the Congress on Friday warned of the same. On 27 March, the party will move the no-trust motion. Meanwhile, Amit Shah penned a letter to Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu, calling the TDP’s decision to pull out ‘unfortunate’.

TDP's Decision to Quit NDA 'Unfortunate, Unilateral'

In a letter to Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu, BJP National President Amit Shah said the TDP's decision to quit the NDA was “both unfortunate and unilateral”.

He further wrote that Naidu’s decision “will be construed as being guided wholly and solely by political considerations instead of developmental concerns.”
