Seeking to break the deadlock over the ongoing protests against the farm laws, the Centre told the 35 representatives of agitating farmers that they are ready to address all their concerns with an open mind, PTI reported citing its sources.
The fifth round of talks between the central government and protesting farmers was held at Vigyan Bhawan on Saturday, with Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar present. He reportedly told the farmer unions that the government is committed to talks and welcomes feedback on farm laws.

A case was registered against RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav and 18 others as well as 500 unidentified people for holding a protest without permission, against the Farm Laws, outside Gandhi Maidan in Patna today. The FIR registered under multiple sections of IPC and Epidemic Diseases Act.
