The Indian Air Force has started receiving its first supply of Spice-2000 bombs from an Israel firm, news agency ANI reported on Sunday, 15 September.
The first batch, with 84 warheads and bombs, arrived in Gwalior, the main base of IAF's Mirage 2000 fighter jets.

The bombs are part of a deal that IAF signed with Israel in June this year, for acquiring more than 100 Spice-2000 bombs under an emergency procurement powers of the services signed by the BJP-led government.
The Spice-2000 bombs were used by the IAF in Balakot during its attack on the Jaish-e-Mohammed camp in February.
