Former Pakistani cricketer and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Imran Khan met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday evening, just a day after witness the India-Pakistan World T20 clash in Kolkata.

The two leaders discussed their experiences in governance in their respective regions.

Khan said Kejriwal has accepted his invitation to visit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region in Pakistan, where his party is in power, as part of exchanging ideas on good governance.


Speaking on the India-Pakistan match held in Kolkata yesterday, the former Pakistani cricketer said Pakistan had got one opportunity, where they took two quick wickets (Suresh Raina, Shikhar Dhawan). They should have finished the game off there and then but they couldn’t.”

“India, after last night’s win, are high on morale. I hope Pakistan lift themselves after the morale-crushing defeat,” he said.
