Painter Hasan Kale can fit a beautiful landscape onto a grain of rice and an entire galaxy onto the cream filling of an Oreo.
From pilau portraits to matchstick messiahs, the 55-year-old Turkish micro-artist is transforming everyday foods and items into tiny masterpieces.
For the last 20 years, Hasan has been on a mission to turn things we would usually pass by or throw away – like the shell of a monkey nut or a pill – into stunning works of art, proving the best things come in small packages.
