We caught up with Bigg Boss 12 host Salman Khan at the launch of the new season in Goa and as usual the Race 3 star was generous with his replies. Salman made a grand entrance to the event, shirtless and in a boat.
First, he talked about how he got emotional when contestants leave the Bigg Boss house. When asked about the times he got angry on the show, he spoke about going out of his way to correct the contestants so they maintain a level of respect.
I go against Viacom and Colors and I go ahead and tell the contestants when they do something wrong. It doesn’t always go in the favour of the TV channel... to correct the contestants but I still do it.Salman Khan
At the question of who else could host Bigg Boss, Salman immediately brought up pal SRK and revealed that King Khan was the first choice to host the show. He also gave a shoutout to Sanjay Dutt and Farah Khan who have both hosted a season each of Bigg Boss.
Finally, when asked to give three reasons to watch the show, Salman gave a trademark quirky response.
The twelfth season of the hit reality show Bigg Boss will premiere on 16 September. This year the theme of the show is ‘ vichitra jodi’ which means all contestants will comprise of couples who have a real-life connection.
