Police officers dressed as Santa Claus and Mrs Claus moved around on the streets of Peru’s capital, on Wednesday, to spread the message of love and peace during the Christmas season.
Donning a Santa Claus outfit, police officer Marco Chira was one of those who rode his motorcycle through downtown Lima, waving to children and posing for pictures with families and tourists.
He was accompanied by several female officers dressed as Mrs Claus.
The officers also raised awareness about traffic safety during the holiday season.
