From the makers of Insidious, Get Out and Udta Punjab - Ghoul is a chilling series about a prisoner who arrives at a remote military interrogation centre and turns the tables on his interrogators, exposing their most shameful secrets. You can fight the demons of this world but what about the ones that aren't?

Based on Arabic folklore, Ghoul is set at a covert detention center at which military officials question and often torture suspected terrorists.  Nida, a newly minted interrogator who turned in her own father as an anti-government activist, arrives at the center to discover that some of these terrorists are not of this world, and she must fight for not just the truth behind the military's hyper nationalist goals, but for her survival in the face of demons, both human and not.

We met up with Radhika Apte and Manav Kaul who play the lead roles in this mini-series. While Radhika Apte has made her space in the digital world with Lust Stories and Scared Games, this is Manav’s first step into the digital world. Radhika Apte thinks that Ghoul might change the way we look at horror in India. She hopes it goes beyond Hollywood and makes a global impact. While it’s not the first time she has acted in a horror film, Manav talks about why he chose horror and why he is perfect for his character Colonel Sunil DaCunha.

They actors talk about the environment that they were working in, a claustrophobic, dark, gloomy basement. But also how the atmosphere was always on the lighter side. They recount a story on set and went on another laughing fit in the interview.

It might be a horror series but sounds like they had lots of fun shooting it. Watch the video to know more.
