Seventeen years ago, a Captain in the Indian Army laid down his life during the Kargil war. A symbol of bravery, he made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation. But late Captain Vikram Batra was no ordinary man. The Pakistani Army feared him –— so much so that they called him “Sher Shah”.

Rahul Gandhi Visits Ayodhya, the First Gandhi to Do So Since 1992

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who arrived in Ayodhya on Friday, has become the first member of the Nehru-Gandhi family to visit there since the demolition of the disputed Babri Masjid in 1992. Rahul offered prayers at Hanuman Garhi temple in Ayodhya before embarking on the fourth day of his Mahayatra in Uttar Pradesh.
