Police arrested six maoists, who were planning an attack near Datli dam in Gumla district of Jharkhand.

The six maoists arrested include the area commander Kunwar Gop, Narayan Singh, Narendra Das, Silas Gudia, Deepak Kerketta and Amit Kerketta.

They were captured with three desi pistols and four cartridges and some printed papers. The police were on lookout for maoist activities in the area when they got the information about this group of men near Datli dam planning an attack.

The group were trained for a month in Tati forests on the Simdega-Odisha border.
