Hussen Abase, the father of Amira Abase, one of the three Bethnal Green schoolgirls who had run away from the UK to join the Islamic state has been pleading the British government to let them back in the country.

He said that they had made a “mistake” by joining ISIS and that “teenagers don’t contemplate things and are easily tricked.”

He further added that the women pose “no threat” to Britain.

This request came shortly after Shamima Begum, 19, one of the three infamous ‘jihadi brides’ was found in a Syrian refugee camp in Turkey, heavily pregnant. She recently gave birth to a son.

According to reports, among the other two girls, Kadiza Sultana is believed to have been killed in an airstrike while Abase is unaccounted for after a recent airstrike in Baghouz.

Hussen Abase led public appeals for his daughter’s return and even blamed the authorities for failing to stop them from leaving.

However, Abase has been seen marching in extremist rallies where an American flag was set ablaze. He admitted to being at the rally and also having taken his daughter to the rally.
