A Union Pacific cargo train travelling through north Texas miraculously missed hitting a house on the morning of Wednesday, 9 January, after several of its coaches derailed.

Luckily, no casualties or injuries were reported after the incident.

The derailed coaches missed hitting the house but severely damaged its fences and a garage.

The freight train went off its tracks sending at least eight freight cars within feet of a row of homes in the Denton County city of Aubrey.

Videos from the Texas Sky Ranger showed at least eight rail cars piled up along the tracks.
