The Pakistani Army was seen raising white flags while approaching the LOC to retrieve bodies of their soldiers killed by the Indian Army in retaliation to ceasefire violations.
The Indian Army on Saturday released a 1.47-minute video of the incident which showed Pakistan military personnel raising the white flag to retrieve the bodies of their soldiers. The flag is raised to signal peace and truce.
On 10-11 September, Indian Army troops killed Sepoy Ghulam Rasool, hailing from Bahawalnagar in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir's Hajipur sector, ANI reported.
One of the deceased soldiers was reportedly a Punjabi Muslim who belonged to Bahawalnagar in Pakistan's Punjab province.
Initially, Pakistani soldiers tried to recover the bodies of their soldiers by intensifying ceasefire violation. However, they failed to do so after repeated attempts for two days.
The Pakistani Army raised the white flags on Friday, 13 September, and the Indian Army permitted the same, ANI reported quoting sources.

Earlier, the Pakistan Army had refused to take back the bodies of five to seven Pakistani intruders who were killed during an infiltration attempt by the Pakistani Border Action Team (BAT) team on the intervening night of 31 July and 1 August.
Sources claimed that the Pakistani Army disowns Kashmiris, Northern Light Infantry soldiers and terrorists, but not Punjabi Muslim soldiers, PTI reported.
