2. ‘Take Her Into Custody’: Uttarakhand CM Shouts at Protester
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat lost his cool at a woman protesting during a 'Janata Darbar' in Dehradun on Thursday, 28 June, saying that she should be suspended and taken into custody.
The woman, 57-year-old Uttara Bahuguna, has been identified as government school principal in Uttarkashi's Naugaon. She was allegedly protesting to demand a transfer out of what she calls a "remote area".
Videos of the incident, which were circulated on social media, showed Rawat telling the officials present there, "Suspend her today itself. Take her away... Take her into custody". As police officials attempted to escort her outside, Bahuguna was heard shouting and arguing with the chief minister, who had reportedly rejected her transfer request at the event.

3. UP Hawker Lynched in Tripura Over Child-Lifting Rumours, 4 Injured
A hawker from Uttar Pradesh was lynched and four others were injured on Thursday, 28 June, after a mob in Tripura attacked them on suspicion of being child-lifters, police told PTI.
The incident took place at Murabari in West Tripura district.
Three hawkers, all from outside the state, had come to Murabari around 9:30 am. They had come for trade purposes, Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Police Smriti Ranjan Das told PTI.

4. India Look to End T20 Series Against Ireland on a Winning Note on Friday
The Indian team will begin their preparations for the World Cup 2019 – which is less than a year away – with a full tour of England. But before they take on the England side in 3 T20Is, 3 ODIs and 5 Test matches, the Virat Kohli-led Indian team is playing against Ireland in a brief T20I series.
In the first T20 between India and Ireland, India won by 76 runs and will look to end the two-match series on a winning note in the final T20 International on Friday.
India were runaway winners in Wednesday's opening T20I, scoring 208/5 in their 20 overs, with Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan contributing 97 and 74 runs respectively, before wrist spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal shared seven wickets between them to restrict Ireland to 132/9.

5. Miss Deaf India Deshna Jain Has Something Important to Tell You
Meet Deshna Jain, the twenty-year-old model from Madhya Pradesh who will represent India at the 8th Mr and Miss Deaf International in Taiwan in July.
Deshna claimed her right to represent India after being crowned Miss Deaf India 2018 earlier this year.
Deshna discovered her drive for modelling when she was named first runner-up at Miss Antriksh, a beauty pageant in Indore where, unlike her, the contestants were not hearing impaired.
