1. Pak PM on Pulwama Attack: Open to Probe if India Gives Evidence

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan in a tongue-in-cheek statement on the Pulwama attack said that if India provides evidence of Pakistan’s involvement in the attack in any way, the country will take necessary action. Khan’s reaction comes just days after the Pak based JeM claimed responsibility for killing 40 CRPF jawans in Pulwama.

The statement also comes the same day Pakistan foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi sent a letter to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres saying that there was a "threat of use of force by India against Pakistan" and that India levelling allegations on Pak without proof is absurd.

Earlier in the day, the Indian Army, CRPF and J&K Police had addressed a joint press conference on attack.

Lt Gen KJS Dhillon of the Indian Army, while addressing the media with IG Kashmir SP Pani and IG CRPF Zulfiquar Hasan, said that within 100 hours of the attack, security forces had eliminated the top JeM leadership in the state.

He also said that “anyone who enters Kashmir Valley will not go back alive.”
