I received phone calls as soon as I reached Chandigarh. Most of the job was done over telephonic conversations. Unfortunately, the Chandigarh airport was shut around that time. Neither chartered or commercial flights could land there. By 2:00 pm we figured out that Pinjaur was a convenient airport and a flight was arranged. By 8:00 pm, we prepared 2-3 drafts. Later we had an inkling that the Governor was not going to invite us and then the draft was modified for a third time. The Supreme Court realised the urgency of the matter and decided to hear the matter post midnight.Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Congress Leader and Supreme Court Advocate
