Budget 2017 Will be Hard on Tax Payers’ Money, Says T P Ostwal

Budget 2017 is almost here; it will be announced on 1 February. This is the first budget since demonetisation and comes just before Assembly polls.

So, what are the expectations from Budget 2017?

T P Ostwal, managing partner, T P Ostwal and Associates LLP says that we shouldn’t expect great things from Arun Jaitley. Furthermore, he adds that the finance minister won’t be kind to tax payers. For Ostwal, the fall in GDP is one of the reasons for lack of major changes in the budget.
