The no-confidence motion, the first in 15 years, will be debated in the Lok Sabha on 20 July, and in the Rajya Sabha on 23 July, after Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan accepted the motion moved by the Opposition parties against the Modi-led NDA government on 18 July.
The BJP has the numbers to take on the no-trust vote and is confident that the opposition’s no-confidence motion will fall through.
