11 people, who returned to their village in Milkangiri after being kidnapped by Maoists, were released by them on Tuesday after being brutally traumatised.

Police said the Maoists abducted the villagers suspecting them of being police informers and all the kidnapped persons were produced in a praja court (kangaroo court of the Maoists) in the deep forests of Mathili on Friday.
