Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee took the oath as the chief minister of West Bengal on Friday. Mamata begins her second inning as chief minister after TMC emerged victorious in the West Bengal Assembly election.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, UP CM Akhilesh Yadav, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav also registered their presence in the oath taking ceremony. This will further strengthen the theory of formation of federal front to counter the Modi-led BJP in the 2019 General Elections.
