Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on a one-day visit to his Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi where he gave away e-rickshaws and RuPay cards to beneficiaries.
He said at the event that poverty has been long politicised almost as a tradition in our country and that needs to change. He also said that education was the most powerful tool in eradicating poverty.
