Kangana Ranaut has long been considered the controversy queen. It seems, no matter what is happening in B-Town, somehow Kangana becomes a part of it. Her devil-may-care attitude often puts her at the centre of the stage, and more often that not, she is not afraid to speak her mind.

Recently, at the launch of ‘Wakhra Song’ from her upcoming film Judgementall Hai Kya, which is produced by Ekta Kapoor, Kangana spoke about a number of burning issues of B-Town. She started off by addressing her sister Rangoli’s controversial tweets by saying:

“I am not my sister’s spokesperson. Let her write what she wants. It is her fundamental right.”

She also spoke about Zaira Wasim and her decision to quit the film industry owing to her religious beliefs:

“I think no matter what, a religion should empower you.”

She also went on to comment on the spat between her sister Rangoli and actor Taapsee Pannu, and also addressed issues pertaining to the title of her upcoming film. She spoke about mental health and the controversy regarding the earlier title ‘Mental Hai Kya’.

At the event, Kangana got into an ugly spat with a journalist from PTI, Justin Rao. She claimed that Justin is running a smear campaign against her, to which the journalist demanded an explanation.

Kangana’s new film Judgementall Hai Kya also stars actor Rajkummar Rao and is set to release on 26 July 2019.
