Skechers, an American footwear brand, opened their 200th store in India recently, and we got to catch up with Jacqueline Fernandez, who was there for the launch.
Accompanying her at the launch were US Consul General Edgard Kagan and Skechers India CEO Rahul Vira. Talking about the video that she had put up a day before on Instagram, the former Miss Sri Lanka said, “We made the video last night actually. It was just something to celebrate, and to also show people the beautiful variations and options that Skechers actually has to offer people.” Wearing a pair of Skechers herself, she also posed for photographs with a giant shoe that the brand had placed outside the mega store.
Talking about her own experience with the brand, Jacqueline said, “I have been a huge fan ever since I was a kid and I remember we would wait for occasions to be able to be gifted a pair. It is kind of surreal for me that I’m sitting right now at their 200th store opening because as a young kid this is like the shoe that I idolised.”
The Housefull 2 star has always been in the news for her style and when asked how she manages to ace every look, she said that she usually keeps combining her clothes differently and doesn't really change it that much.
