Bharathi Veerath, Bengaluru’s first woman cab driver who worked with Uber was found dead under mysterious circumstances in her room. It is suspected to be a case of suicide.

She struggled to become the first woman taxi driver. She did some excellent professional work.

Bharathi was a native of Andhra Pradesh and was working with Uber in Bengaluru for the past two years. Her body was found hanging in her room. Post-mortem reports are yet to confirm the actual cause of death. Uber said they were shocked and saddened by her death.
