The trailer launch of Ayushmann Khurrana’s upcoming film Dream Girl was hilarious. Ayushmann came decked out in a saree, and what a sport he was! The actor spoke about his choice of scripts, the National Award, his preparation for the role of a woman and more. Accompanying him was his co-star Nushrat Bharucha, director Raaj Shaandilya, producer Ekta Kapoor and other team members.
“For years, men have played Sita’s role in Ramlilas, but we have never considered them worthy enough to be subjects for films. I wasn’t the aam aadmi in Article 15 or Andhadhun, but I am one in Dream Girl”, Ayushmann said.
The actor also added that he still cannot digest the fact that he has won a National Award.
